In addition to enjoying time with adorable cats in our café, every cat at Cattfeinated Cat Café is also looking for their forever home. All adoptions are made possible through our partnership with Wayward Whiskers Animal Rescue.

All cats receive several medical services to make them adoption, including the following:​

All cats and kittens have been fostered for at least 3 weeks to allow ample observation time for illness, temperament, and to socialize the cat.

Spayed/ Neutered
-
Current on age appropriate vaccinations- including feline distemper (FVRCP) and rabies vaccines
-
Tested negative (unless otherwise noted) for FIV and FeLV.
-
Flea treated and wormed (and antibiotics if needed for illness).
-
Microchipped

You can fill out a digital adoption application using the link above, or complete a paper application at Cattfeinated Cat Café or at PetSmart in Greensburg.
Filling it out early—even before you’ve chosen a specific cat—helps speed up the process. Once your application is submitted, a Wayward Whiskers volunteer will reach out only if you are approved or if they need more information. Our volunteers work incredibly hard, and while they aim to respond within 7–10 business days, please be patient and kind as response timing can vary.

PLEASE NOTE: ADOPTING A CAFE CAT MAKE TAKE LONGER

This isn’t meant to be challenging or discouraging—it’s truly about doing what’s in the best interest of the cat.
Many of our café cats come to us as strays or owner surrenders. They first enter a foster home where they can decompress and receive any needed medical care. After that, they move to the café and spend time in a holding/quarantine area to ensure they’re healthy and that stress hasn’t triggered illness.
From there, acclimating to the cat room can take several weeks, as each cat adjusts at their own pace. When you consider these three major transitions—

—these cats experience a lot of change in a short time.
We intentionally give them time to settle into the café environment, feel safe, and show their true personalities before sending them into yet another transition: going to a new home. Taking this extra time leads to fewer illnesses, fewer stress-related behaviors, and far fewer adoption returns - ultimately creating a healthier, happier match for both you and the cat.

Regardless of being a cafe cat or a cat in foster, adoptions are based on finding the best fit home, not the order in which applications are submitted. With over 120+ cats in Wayward Whiskers’ care at any time, they will always help guide you to the feline who matches your home and lifestyle best.

Once you’re approved and matched with your “best fit” cat, Wayward Whiskers will arrange your adoption at either Cattfeinated Cat Café or PetSmart in Greensburg, with scheduling coordinated directly between you and the WW volunteer.

CATTFEINATED CAT CAFE STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT INVOLVED IN THE APPLICATION REVIEW. THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE UPDATES REGARDING APPLICATION STATUS.
